Yeah, a lot of these smaller schools and conferences got too big for their britches because the TV money was so good.

It makes no sense that a team from Texas is in the same conference as a team in North Carolina, especially when there are more viable alternatives.
Idk who i would want in the SEC though to replace AM. Do we want Clemson a powerhouse or a toothless tiger like Duke. Split VT and UVA. Get someone else's rival like FSU or GT so many unanswered questions

Crazy how Florida has been saved by transfers two years in a row now. One of the benefits from being in talent rich states is highly ranked transfers wanting to come back closer to home I suppose...

Just a random thought. Cade mays is a JR this year correct? He very well may go pro after his JR year and will not return for the 2021 season. If his eligibility request is denied, it wouldn't be the end of the world.

If he is here only a single season it's arguably a better situation to have him next year rather than this year based on how our schedule and depth chart will look. We should be loaded in 2021 and possibly make a run at the SEC championship.

The championship run is 2020. The repeat back to back championship run is 2021. See catbone that is how optimism works…

S.I.A.P
Basically say's we are cheating and that SEC only recruits stars not based on evaluations.

Lol I get Clemson has evaluated and developed better than anyone the past 5 or 6 years, but doesn't mean everyone else recruits on stars. FSU and Miami have recruited paper talent and stunk. Lots of acc schools have underperformed.

As for Pruitt, he's his own man and a known elite evaluator in Alabama. Some say better than Saban. They shouldn't confuse what he's doing with Butch n Dooley.

LoL, Yeah, I just found it funny how quickly he went to the cheating. In the comments he admits he has no evidence to suggest we are cheating, he just thinks that's the only way we can recruit.

Such an absurd and lazy take. Ignorant, really. Our average right now is the same as the past 2 years lol. We are recruiting really well, as we have been!

When people bring up the obvious case of Ole Miss, they are comparing a school that had averaged classes in the top 40 and suddenly landed a #5 class, with a program that averages ~#15 class (would be better if we had stability) and now has landed the #12 class, #10 class, and is now on path to another top 10 class lol. It's not comparable whatsoever.

I get we've been bad lately and maybe that's all they look at, but TENNESSEE RECRUITS ITSELF. Always has, always will. Derek effing Dooley proved this beyond a doubt.

I like it. Keep top targets away from the cabin etc.
What I was thinking, but on a larger scale. Keep things kind of closed and other schools can't get kids on campus where it's easier to sway them. Our staff has been on top of recruiting using the available tools. Some staffs seem to have struggled with it. Why throw that advantage away? You try to keep it as long as possible, but without jeopardizing the season .
