Corner36 (Buck) has called Norvell a bad hire for awhile. Compared him to Butch Jones. Said he’s messing up badly on the recruiting trail in FL HS’s. Norvell won’t be there much longer. Multiple bad hires in a row for FSU. Sounds all too familiar. Hopefully their next hire is much better and helps make that conference more competitive.

It's already, and has been, a crap show since the day he was hired. Ugly in Tally.

Still 1st quarter, 0-7 in the swamp. Just got a fumble recovery on Trask by Toots. This was just a couple plays after another freshman, Burrell, fell on a fumble by the sideline, but was ruled to have tapped the ball with one pinky toenail out of bounds. Typical UT luck. But we got it back anyway. Great 1st down run to set us up right outside the end zone. Now 2nd and goal from the 3. Time to even things up.

We got em right where we want em with this play call and Gray completely whiffs on the block. Otherwise Pope is high stepping into the end zone and the Gator crowd goes hush as we flex a little. All downhill from here. Time to turn it off.

I would have thought this was on Pope. He should have chipped the DE. If he does that gray could have gotten that block and even if he doesn't I don't think it would have been blocked.

He hasn’t even coached a game yet? I’ve got no personal interest here other than I hope he takes his success at Memphis and becomes a problem for Florida and Clemson. But dude, he hasn’t even coached a game. If FSU fires him over this then they must have consulted the previous UT ad on how best to quickly destroy a college athletics program.

I’m not saying they’re going to fire him now. But it seems likely to happen sooner than later due to how badly he’s messing up behind the scenes, particularly in recruiting. Apparently many HS’s in FL, that were feeder schools for FSU, have already written him off. And now his current players are blasting him on social media and are refusing to practice? He’ll have to do major damage control or he might be gone real soon.
