Wasn't one of our hostesses named Lacey?Remember when Dabo turned us in for having a sign at a high school football game? Two lovely ladies went to cheer for Corey Miller and another recruit and Dabo didn’t like seeing the power T in his state. We received a secondary violation IIRC and the hostess program had to be “re-evaluated”.
Did it last week with 12k. Had to take some time to mourn.I did that a few months ago with 5k. Was really close to BBQ level
Only real disagreement with that projection is Gooden starting at nose. See Emerson beginning those games and only getting better. Gooden might be more depth at DT with Garland and Simmons logging minutes at fire plug.
Anything less than 9-3 will be disappointing. Here’s something I put a little deep thought into:
Tennessee 2019-2020 and Ole Miss 2013-2014 similarities
2014 Ole Miss finished 8-5 with a bowl win. 2019 Tennessee finished 8-5 with a bowl win.
2014 Ole Miss had an underperforming returning senior QB that showed flashes at times mired by some bad ugly performances. Tennessee has the same in 2020.
2014 Ole Miss had a top 15 defense. Tennessee potentially could have the same.
2014 was Hugh Freeze’s third season. 2020 is Jeremy Pruitt’s third season.
2014 Ole Miss improved to 9-3. Some think 2020 Tennessee can.
Only KNOWN quantity back then. Closest thing to a NT on the roster the previous season. Of course that was with Emerson recovering from a devastating high school injury. Facts changed last season. Emerson isn’t some emergency standby...he outperformed Gooden comparing their two seasons and Garland wasn’t far off. Could see Gooden get NFL consideration at DT...even backing up Solomon.Wasn't it reported before his injury that Gooden was by far our best defensive linemen in practice?
