What settings do you play on? Once you get to Heisman it's not a "you're just gonna win them" situation, at least not until you've built the dynasty up.

I think the recruiting is my favorite part, but I for sure enjoy trying to break records and stat pad. Also it's pretty much impossible to win the Heisman as a kicker I found out :(

I play on Heisman as well. I thought I was the only person still playing that old game lol. I only against top 5 ranked teams though, and I only play either Offense or Defense, not both if that make any sense. If I play both sides I'm winning by 50.

I've been watching all the sports stuff on the Netflix etc. I can.

There is also a new show a buddy worked on called 4th and Forever: Muck City available on YouTube TV if anyone is interested.

How do you know his intent? He says that word and I have no problem with anyone assuming it was derogatory. There is no defense for the context unless he is testifying about something he heard or read and is required to give a direct quote. What other context or intent could he have? Nothing defensible, IMO. Everyone swears. I try not to take the Lord's name in vain. But, swearing is way different than all the horrible connotations that come with that terrible word.

Gonna have to disagree with part of this. Not everyone "swears" if by that you mean uttering curses. Very few follow the Lord's directive of letting their "yes be yes and no be no" but there are plenty of folks who have the self-control and breadth of vocabulary to avoid cursing regularly.

Racial slurs are used to try and hurt the target. There are plenty of curses and other language that are uttered with the same intent. People say they are against "hate" but really they're against hate only when people use the hurtful words they don't like or target a person or group they identify with. Advocating that being intentionally hurtful is only "hate" when it's directed torward your interests is nothing more than hypocrisy.

As to Dumbo (see, there's an intentionally hurtful use of an ordinary word) and Clempson. Even though I do think their whole image is a sham, it doesn't appear the intent of the language (racial or not) was to be hurtful. Was it really poor judgement? Absolutely. Was it appropriate? No way. But is it more inflammatory than the coaches dropping F-bombs and taking the Lord's name in vain? No, not to me.

Honest question: How are you actually supposed to play defense on NCAA effectively? I've always just watched the pass rush and if no one is getting home I wait until the ball moves and swap to the closest player to try and make a play. And of course AI controlled teams being AI controlled teams means that sometimes there will be a wide open receiver for a 50 yard gain and it seems there's nothing you can do about it.

So with fewer overall practices and all this year do veteran teams have a bigger advantage than usual?
Well it should be a big advantage. Think the coaches that can get a few of the new kids in on some key situations can make some big surprise plays .

MLB lurk, switch to safety on deep ball.

Rush 6 and play man. Make sure that 6th rusher is fast enough the qb can't get away from him. Take it out of the AIs hands and play for turnovers and sacks.

Also, make sure that rusher is on the side of the field the offense would use for running plays. You play MLB and cover the run and short stuff to the middle of the field.
