I’m only 27. My pops is about 63 and we gotta cabin up on Keith Springs Mountain Rd in Belvidere. Did you go to Franklin county? Next time I’m in town let’s grab some Skip’s or John T’s and talk shop
Ha! Ole Skip’s grill! I’m 44 so we are a different generation, but still may know of each other. I went to Huntland.

I support Mike Gundy’s choice to watch whatever news he wants.... intolerant players trying to tell him that he’s a bad guy.
I look at it as, those young men are looking at their coach to show solidarity and understand how they feel. A successful football program needs a leader, where the players want to do their best for a coach and program that identifies with them and also have their best interest at heart. He can watch and do whatever he wants, but do it privately, especially during this time.

Not sure about that. Players are well within their rights to decide who they want to play for and what kind of values they want that person to have.

Yes, they can. And they may also learn the hard way that being offended by everything they disagree with can limit their options and opportunities.

That’s probably true, too. But young men, predominantly black men, are the reason we watch college sports. Coaches are a dime a dozen. They’re starting to realize their power.

We were top 25 last year, well above average. I don't think even those those people are saying we will step back, but maybe lack the optimism some here have of further progressing.

I think, from an outsider's perspective, it makes sense. We just lost our 3 best defenders, 1 on each level. Those were basically the 3 "household names" outside of now Toots. Outsiders don't expect us to be at the level of being able to continuously reload just yet.

But, from our perspective, CJP and Ansley are coaching guys up, have a great scheme and track record, and our DL and CBs are very experienced and solid. We have recruited well too, so we are getting close to "reloading, not rebuilding".

Question #1 imo is pass rush. Is that a serious concern? It certainly could be. Time will tell, but I think CJP has given us reason to hope. Outsiders don't see or want to see that. Which is fine and expected, I would look at the negatives for UF or UGA too.

But I totally disagree about having bad safeties. They have a chance to be really solid with healthy Flowers, Tank, Fields, stud KLaw.

Tl;dr Give me 1 big pass rusher breakout and we'll be top 15 all day, with a top 10 ceiling.

Mullet getting cancelled. Plenty more to come with cancel culture exponentially increasing.
Oh crap. I read this as "Mullen" the first few times. Man, my heart almost jumped out my chest. Please please sweet baby jesus. Mehlen, Sabhen, Daboh, Smaht. Let any one of them get cancelled and I would be ecstatic for way too long.

Very true. Oddly enough, the kids at OSU already decided CMG was that person. If they want to transfer, more power to them.
Imo (which could be very wrong), I would have liked Chuba to have talked with Gundy before going to social media. But you would expect Gundy to not put his players in that position in the first place.
These kids are going through a lot and to act like we understand misses the point. Here’s to sports bringing us together!

If they don't want to play the school should have the right to revoke their scholarship
Well, yeah, but what would it matter?

Hubbard means a lot more for Oklahoma State than Oklahoma State means for him. He could transfer to a number of schools and be in a much better position. (Tennessee being one.)
