Well it could be worse...we could be LSU and lose to Missouri. Oh wait, they just won the NC...Nevermind I got nothin
Auburn got ran for 4 quarters and almost lost to Arky. This will be a wild year and no one should forget that. If we go a standard 5-5/6-4 I'd be happy to avoid the wild negative variance lsu, texas, others are feeling rn.

Just got home from watching at a friend's house. This sucks. Their defense front embarrassed our O-line, and apparently our running backs have zero wiggle. I thought our defense looked pretty damn good until they got gassed from spending so much damn time on the field. The biggest glaring weakness is, of course, JG. It's not just the fumbles or the pick. He sucks at reading the D and stares down his receivers. Apparently no amount of coaching can fix that. It's time for someone else. He's had his shot, and he just can't do it. It's sad, because I was hoping he had changed, but the first high pressure game and he reverts to norm. Where the eff was our O-line tonight and where was their discipline? I'm so effin' pissed right now.

I really hope some of those recruits that are still teetering pick us, but I'm not feeling confident after that performance.

FACTS. Don’t blame this on JG... he had one bad turnover

OL beat or not, 2 is accountable for the inability to eat the ****!ng football and take a sack rather than laying the ball down or throwing a weak lollipop down the seam. He gift wrapped them 21 points in the second half.

He needs to go.

We have recruited what is supposed to be an elite oline. So what is the problem? How were they dominated like that? Is it coaching or where they overrated? Or does UGA have a dline that would start in the NFL? Which is it?

A couple of things: our OL still has two two true sophomores at key positions. I’m not sure who played where today, but Morris and Wright are still “young” while UGA’s Dline had upperclassmen. I can add that Kennedy is average.

Then, you have a QB who has no awareness of a blitz and how to counter that. Gray whiffed on a block, and the QB has to help the OL.

On top of that, I’m not sure the run calls were very creative, but I never played so I can’t say that for sure.

I’m not sure about Friend, but generally, Chaney can coach an OL.

Dude JG wasn't getting sacked because he had no awareness? NO ONE BLOCKED THESE GUYS. You don't have awareness for a guy coming right up the middle untouched. Lol

I think we’re stuck as a middle tier program in the SEC unless we get a program changing QB. We recruit well but not at an elite level. To recruit at an elite level you have to win. To win, you have to recruit at an elite level. It’s a catch 22.

We’ve improved but today showed the gap is still massive. It’s the jimmies and joes. And I like CJP a lot and think he is a very good coach. Put him at UGA and he’s better than Kirby imo.
Here's a plan - we can still beat UF (garbage D), Auburn (meh), and Tamu (meh).

Let's say we drop Bama and go 8-2. That would be a huge finish and should push us into a top 10 recruiting finish...maybe even top 8 or 7. That is the kind of year that pushes us into a very bright finish. Maybe we can sell being up at half vs UGA and hopefully a strong finish vs Bama.

The goal was being competitive. Despite the 4th quarter...we were competitive today. We proved we can belong, but we have steps to go. That is sellable to recruits and that is what we needed.

So...we back to FAHR PRUITT?

We are a bunch of idiots.
The people saying that actually don’t understand football. They look at final scores and go “team bad. Fire coach” yeah that worked for us so well in the past. I haven’t seen our defense play that well in over a decade. For those of you about to say “44 points” or whatever. You too don’t understand football. Defense played lights out after stopping the bad penalties and got gassed because they only got a 2 minute break between time on the field. We have a coach, dammit. I’m pissed about how things went to, but I’m damn proud of a large portion of this team. And for anyone out there about to say “moral victories” or something like that, I don’t care about your opinion. I’m gonna be proud because we have an SEC defense once again.
