UF AD just said that a couple of the players who tested positive now say they had minor symptoms before traveling to College Station. They didn’t report their symptoms before they traveled because they thought it was allergies.

Thought teams were testing prior to traveling/gameday?

Honestly I think he was doomed from the start, lots of red flags during recruitment and after signing day. Not saying JJ is a bad kid, he just hasn’t been able to make the jump to the next level cause of a myriad of different issues. Mostly though, he lacks drive to get himself where he needs to be.

Even if we had Howell, JG would still be starting IMO bc “safe” or something. JG will come back next year and find some unique waiver to come back for a 7th! We’re stuck!

The NCAA rules committee supposedly just opened up the big can of worms regarding compensation for players and immediate one time transfer for players without penalty. The SEC needs to take a long look at their in conference rules now. This is gonna get really good now. Hopefully, there's a stud QB just waiting to transfer to UT with a few years of eligibility left.

This virus has been around for half a year now. Nick Saban conveniently gets covid a few days before he will lose to one of his assistants for the first time.

I actually hate it, because I both want Bama to pound UGA into the sand and want Pruitt to break that streak next week.

They certainly still can and I'd imagine Saban could even be on a headset communicating from afar...but the psychological factor for the staff and players worries me a bit. Can't let Smart run their schedule. Bama needs to put them in their place...get ran ragged...then we can finish em off

I think we’re at a make or break year with Weinke. If he can’t get JG were he needs to be, and he can’t get any of the others ahead of him enough to take his job, then we need to find another QB coach.
