Johnson and Bennet are better. Gray is fine except for the fumble. The OL has been inconsistent but good versus Mizzou and fine today. I agree the backend of the defense is an enigma, but Thompson is playing out of position.

It all goes back to the offense and unfortunately the QB. With better QB play, we beat BYU last year (go at least 9-4), and we play UGA and UK much tighter this year.

I know CV messed up a bunch of practicing and everything else, but this is ridiculous. Most other teams seem to have knocked off the rust. Us, we're getting rustier by the week it seems...

I also don’t think anyone expected the losses of Sherrer and Rumph to the NFL would affect the defense and special teams as much as it did. I feel like our LB pass coverage was a little better last year.

I am not sure where all the outrage is coming from. We knew we would lose badly to bama. Sure we could have used a different qb but the score would be about the same. It's not about this game, its how we move fwd after the bye week. If against arkansas we have the same starting qb I get the hate, but this ended up where any sane person thought it would.

It's time to turn the page on JG and this terrible offense but no one was going to change this outcome. Stop all the crying and let's see where we are in two weeks.

Pruitt has made most positions better than when he got here. We should judge him on the second half of this year before the pitch forks come out. He is improving the talent on the team, but he needs to make some changes to get us where we can want to be.

This outrage when we lose to a clearly better team is silly. We are not built to beat them. Pruitt may or may not be the guy, but outside of the ky loss, we are fine. We are rebuilding and it will take time

UGA played so lousy it gave us confidence for a half, but confidence based on the opponent's poor play never lasts.

Metal Vol is correct. VFL’s are pissed. We do not look well coached and we have a JV QB that keeps getting slammed down our throats. I would rather watch Maurer run the option the rest of the year. JG throws for 160 yards and our coach says it was one of our best offensive performances. My gosh I hope that is coach speak.

If this season ends terribly, which I hope it doesn’t, you have your answer on whether Pruitt is here long term. I would rather sacrifice one class for a real coach and someone who can develop talent. Recruits will come when we start winning and showing development. I mean I could care less if we won four games next year because we lost a lot of transfers if we had the right coach and knew he could get us back. It would be better than 6-6 under Pruitt and canning him at year end.

All this to say, I hope Pruitt knew we were losing this game no matter what and played JG for the last time. He gets Maurer and Bailey ready for the back half and we win 3 or 4 down the stretch. We show improvement and the team rallies again. We upgrade some position coaches and get ready for next season. This is best case scenario for our program right now.

Except if we hired a new coach (even the right one) and he only won 4 games in year one we would all want him fired anyways.

It’s f ing sux to lose any game, I don’t care who it’s against. We did play better today than last week. Hell, I expected to lose by 40, but I saw better fight than last week. Yes, there is a lot that needs to be fixed, pass rush, DL, tackling and blocking.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather lose with the possibility that a creative offense wins the game than the fantasy that our defense will hold Bama scoring down. But hey, I guess we got some good film on the O line. 'Course I'm not getting paid.

He is and in his world defense wins games as long as the offense practices ball control. Too bad that hasn't been true since the early 90s.

Yes. As an official with replay as a backup you better damn well be sure you had him out of bounds. You can always go back and mark him out but you can’t go back and give him the TD. Bad officiating there. Let it play out if it’s close when you have replay.

I just freaking hate Kiffin. I'm not saying we don't suck. We clearly do. But let's compare coaches on the basis of a common opponent. That's always a great idea.

No one thought we would win. We should be very unhappy about KY, but we should not be FF crazy.
