So, my feeling on Pruitt really hasn’t changed that much. Last year, I thought he was a dead man walking halfway through the year, and something changed. That’s still possible this year.
I said throughout last season - even when we were on our win streak - that I felt doubtful Pruitt would ever win a conference championship, and even winning a division title, with Mullen and Smart as yearly competition, would be unlikely. I was raked over the coals for that opinion - I was too negative!
Now, I still feel about the same. I think Pruitt is probably an 8-10 win coach at his peak. I don’t think that’s good enough to win a title in this conference - but it’s still pretty good and better than we’ve had the last 10 years. Now I feel like I’m on the positive end of the spectrum.
