If a QB besides JG has a good year next year with Weinke as QB coach then what?

How many years does it take to get a QB ready? And at what point does a QB succeed in spite of coaching? Not sure why you have such an argumentative approach when QB is by far our biggest weakness this year. Are there other areas that need to be addressed? Absolutely. But no position has come close to be as disappointing as QB. That's just a fact. An undisputable fact.

I think kentucky may be a top to bottom a better team than we are with less talent. Their QB play is suspect, but so is ours. Gotta give credit to their coaches and development

I periodically take an ignored poster off ignore. Typically, I can deal with them for about a week then they go back on ignore.

With your life about to get a lot more exciting with a baby, do yourself a favor and use the ignore feature liberally.

Sometimes it ain’t the coach. It very well could be, but could also be that the previous QBs aren’t good enough and HB is a true FR who missed too much time in camp.

Not trying to argue about it, I just don’t think there’s very much talent in the QB room besides HB.

So you're saying it's Pruitt's fault. Lack of talent would fall to a failure in recruiting, which ultimately falls on the head coach.

Everyone has opinions. Mine is that JG is uncoachable, but that doesn't excuse Weinke from developing a backup.

Yeah we can blame Pruitt. Ultimately it does fall on him as HC.

I’d say coming off 0-8 in the SEC and being hired just before ESD that Shrout was the best we could do in that class. Maurer picked up momentum late but we weren’t gonna land a stud QB after 4-8 and 5-7.

It’s a damn miracle we landed HB. I’d like to see what he can do given a little time.
