Have y'all seen the UK commercial where one of the first shots is of kids walking around their campus, and one of the kids up front is wearing a UT shirt? They blur out the logo but he has this bright orange shirt.

You guys couldn't find a shot of kids walking around campus NOT wearing a shirt for another school?

Cracks me up every time.

Should be able to run the ball at will vs Arkansas. But the times we do pass, will be the deciding factor of the game. No INTs

BC 28 Clemson 26. It’s interesting to see a defense make adjustments and a FR QB grow as the game goes along. I know they have more athletes, but BC had all the confidence and momentum to steal a win vs the number 1 team. I believe Clemson will score 2 more times at least and I just don’t see BC keeping up.

I periodically take an ignored poster off ignore. Typically, I can deal with them for about a week then they go back on ignore.

With your life about to get a lot more exciting with a baby, do yourself a favor and use the ignore feature liberally.

As much influence as the Like count has on people (whether they admit it or not), I’ve always wondered what influence there’d be if we also had an Ignored By count. I could see it going either direction.

It would I agree. Imo we do it due to lack of quality depth. Crouch for example if he wasn't moved the other option was a converted RB who hadn't played in over a year or a true freshman coming off surgery who wasn't cleared. On the O line we really don't have any options at tackle but to love guys. The freshman in the last class are better suited at guard and Cooper will be a center imo. If Friend can do his job or whoever the O line coach is this class has our back up tackles with Parker Smith and Gooch

Well I guess those that said that Rutgers win last week wasn’t impressive because Of the opponent might want to rethink that now.

Top 10 things I could hear that would restore my confidence in the Vols this week.

  1. Insert name here has been getting all of the practice snaps over JG since the Bama loss, and has been named the starter vs. Arkansas.
  2. All players are 100% healthy and available since the Bama loss.
  3. Will Friend has been moved to an off the field role and will be replaced by insert name here.
  4. Chris Weinke has been moved to an off the field role and will be replaced by Osovet, who will be replaced by Chip Long.
  5. Bo Davis has been named DL coach.
  6. Front 7 has been getting more pressure on the QB this week.
  7. All OL have solidified their spots on the line and will not be shuffling anymore barring injury.
  8. Neyland Green has committed to the Vols. 8b. Tywone Malone has committed to the Vols.
  9. Crouch has settled into a spot as OLB/short yardage RB.
  10. Beckwith has seized the #1 TE spot.

*Fire Pruitt or Chaney is not on the list

Probably, but there’s no way of knowing if JT Daniels will be better. Just like there is no way of knowing HB would be better than JG, but they have more to lose than we do currently to make a change. They are definitely not out of contention for the college playoffs, but they basically need to run the table and beat Alabama in the SEC championship. We have nothing to lose except a possible bowl game appearance.
