If anyone wonders why we are where we are as a program just look at our senior class. Count how many are still in the program and then count how many are contributors to the current team.

2017 is bad. 2018 doesn’t seem off to me. Especially considering the time to put that class together. Got several players in there that will be NFL guys.

Also w redshirts you have parts of 5 classes on teams. Transfers happen. You have to trim the fat on these classes each year to make room for the new 25

Basically. Run Eric Gray to death, take some deep shots to Palmer and Hyatt. Should be our game plan the rest of the year anyways. Hope and pray the defense has figured out how to cover a middle of the field pass.

Except for a few plays where Ty really should've taken the ball. Neither are great at breaking tackles and Gray offers higher upside but Ty tends to pick up those short yards better than Gray, atm.

2 scenarios:
1. play Mauer and deal with him gambling and running with wreckless abandon,

2. play HB and allow his to grow on the go. Kid has a live arm but not really mobile.

Either will work better than playing JG

One thing I don't understand about Kiffin... He is constantly flirting with us. I mean you understand the Pearl situation - that was a forced breakup that neither party wanted at the time but Lane dumped us and has spent every day since USC left him on the tarmac pining for us and a good portion of the fanbase pines for him even though he didn't achieve much here and is responsible for our empire crumbling as quickly as it did. The whole situation is just odd. Like he's just waiting for us to re-hire him so he can live a hollywood ending but suppose we did - do the Vols ever get that Hollywood ending? The past decade says, 'ah hell nah.'

We wouldn’t have hired Chaney then. Pittman was never leaving UGA unless he got his own gig. I was still surprised he left for Arkansas. They were never a package deal. Chaney coached 24 seasons before the first instance.

The proof is in the pudding this yr that Friend is not a high quality OL coach. All those 4 and 5* guys and we block like upfront. Its a 2 fold issue of: 1. the lack of respect for the qb and 2. coaching.

Friend contract is up in January or February so I let him go kick rocks. I bet he ends up at a Colorado St. level school again.

I’m not a coach but I can see how poorly coached the offensive line is. When they can’t just out talent someone they struggle mightily.

For anyone watching the titans game. Assuming he even interferes at all. How was that a “catchable ball” even on the pass interference when someone cut in front of the receiver to intercept it. In no way is that catchable if the ball never even gets to the wide receiver that was being interfereD with.

I don’t doubt Chaney would have preferred to bring Pittman along but it wasn’t his choice...nor Pruitt’s. Pittman was where he wanted to be short of landing a P5 HC gig.

Would love for Davis to be DL coach, and bring in Tosh for OLB coach, but do you fire Felton or move him to ILB coach? Or do you just bring in a whole new ILB coach and move Nieds back to TEs and maybe give him a title like ST Coordinator so it doesn't read as a demotion? Can Osovet coach QBs? And I ask that because I'm perfectly okay with Weinke being let go. Or could Tee coach QBs and one of Nieds or Osovet take over at WR?

Has Tosh coached ILBs? When I looked at his coaching stints, I saw DL and OLB as positions he's coached.
