I'd still bring Tosh in to coach OLBs, it just becomes a question of do you fire Felton, move him to ILBs, shuffle Nieds back to the offense...

I'd hate to lose Nieds altogether just because of his recruiting, but not opposed to shifting him around. But ultimately, you do whatever is best for the team. Would like to see Weinke and Friend replaced. No idea on who to replace Friend with, but I just feel he's done a subpar job with what he has.

"Catching up" as far as within this covid season? Because scoring has been unprecedented so far. Not too surprising with this anomalous year. But long term - not at all.

Within this season - yeah I think it was just a matter of time for defenses to catch back up.

The saints offense is hard to watch really. No vertical passing game to speak of

Again just talking year to year. The past 2 years he graded out higher. Last year such as...he threw for an entire 1.5 more ypa...+13 in passer rating.



this grows to 2.5 ypa difference and 22 pt difference in passer rating in SEC games



Not a ton to do with JG, but Mond has been a thorn in TAMU's side the past couple years...their fans hated him...but dumbo fisher just stuck with him. Unlike here, he has developed though.

2 scenarios:
1. play Mauer and deal with him gambling and running with wreckless abandon,

2. play HB and allow his to grow on the go. Kid has a live arm but not really mobile.

Either will work better than playing JG

OR mix and match Mauer and Bailey depending on situation and team you are playing

I agree with you. It's always bugged me when they throw a closed fist punch right to a guys helmet. I mean kick him in the nuts or something
