Anyone figure out what @HankHill was talking about?
He said himself he was just trying to stir the pot, there was nothing. Carry on.

Ahh, not worth taking him off ignore haha. So follow the moving lines. Got it thanks manI don’t gamble any, but Bruin and some of the other knowledgeable gambling posters Have said in the past that the line movement late is usually the professional gamblers placing bets, and gives a good idea of what may happen, because they are right much more than they are wrong.
As soon as he starts using "fans and media" response in deciding who should play, he should be fired on the spot.
I’m just saying he’s tone deaf. When everyone is saying the same thing maybe it’s time to consider their point of view.
The venerable Butch Jones, worshipped by many, had Kamara on the bench quite a bit. He was questioned for it and it was certainly warranted.
well, we've not seen anything, production wise, from anyone behind JG that even comes close to what we saw from Kamara....if for no other reason that makes it different, and not a good comparison.I’m just saying he’s tone deaf. agree with all this, and i think the biggest sin CBJ and co made with Kamara was simply in how they used him, tactically. as we now see, in that west coast/spread offense, he's really effective. the "power spread" or whatever Jones called it just wasn't gonna take advantage of what Kamara does best....I believe the Kamara thing is a bit overblown. Sure, he could have been used a little more in spots. But, Kamara was only at UT for 2 years. Hurd ran for almost 1300 yards in 2015 at 4.7 yards per carry. Dobbs also had 671 rushing yards, so that's nearly 2,000 between 2 other players. I also recall people upset against OU when they ran Kamara at the goal line instead of Hurd.
Kamara got the ball more in 2016 when Hurd got hurt and eventually quit. But, John Kelly was running through defenses as well.
If our QB hadn't been a runner like Dobbs, then Kamara would have gotten it more. Just only one football.

so yeah, we say "should used kamara more" but what we really, most likely, mean is we "should have tailored the offense more around Kamara and Dobbs skill sets"....simply increasing the volumen of carries/touches in the system we ran, wasn't really gonna be enough.
VERY few times. Came out with it against Bama in 2016 and Kamara ripped off a 20-30 yard run with Hurd blocking...then never went back to it.I recall they put Hurd and Kamara in the backfield together a few times, and it was successful. It created mismatches. I wanted Chaney to do that with Gray and Chandler this year, but I guess it's not in the cards.
Yea, whatever happened to Chaney saying if we don’t see Chandler ans Grey in the backfield at the same time to check on him he’s had a heart attack or something?!?I recall they put Hurd and Kamara in the backfield together a few times, and it was successful. You do realize this depth chart hasn’t changed one iota since game 1, right? Cmon man. There’s a reason they’ve not changed the depth chart. You don’t tell everybody what you’re gonna do. It’s more of a placeholder than anything. Use your head for something other than a hat rack.
