Every player, on our roster, should be recruited over every year. That's the only way we're gonna close the gap on Bama, Georgia, and the other power's that be in the SEC. If people can't see that, they don't understand how Bama continues to recruit at the top level.
Just speculation but I don't think Chaney has the final say on who the QB is. And if he did, it most likely wouldn't be JG.
I can't imagine he was just thrilled with the idea of having to run the ball on third and long 5 times against Bama. Could be wrong.
I think the QB situation is more dictated by Pruitt than Chaney.Am I shocked that one of the most highly compensated offensive coordinators in football doesn't know what good QB looks like? If that's true, then yes I am. You'd think 1.6M a year might buy the ability to evaluate a QB.
But if it's true that HB isn't as good as billed, and it's true that Chaney didn't actively recruit HB at UGA, then maybe Chaney is better at this than you think.
Only if JG starts playing basketball!!!!!!!!!!!********. Doesn’t matter if he has his cell phone number or not unless he’s a member of that coaching staff he has zero right to text any coach complaints about his coaching
Btw I have Rick Barnes cell phone number saved in my phone should I text him and tell him who his starting linup is?
This reads like an intro scene for a Christmas movie. I can see it - the camera comes over a mountain top to a shot of your small hometown. Its a snowy day. Kids having a snowball fight. Camera is taking a flyover view of the town as you (the lead character all grown up) do a voice over, telling a story about how your small town was growing and changing, and how you missed the good people who no longer live there because the growth and change pushed them out. Right after you say, 'there goes the neighborhood,' the camera transitions through the kitchen window, mom has been cooking all day, and you say, 'Oh yeah, where was I? It was Christmas. 1992...." and now were back at your childhood self running around the corner of the kitchen, bumping into your older sister, she calls you a 'twerp' and off we go!We only have 1 local gas station owned by an older Indian couple...Biltmore Grocery...not the nicest looking place but so friendly. They would special order stuff for me and always keep things stocked just for individuals. Always giving me things on the house and offering Indian meals I could preorder for Saturdays.
Unfortunately they just got bought out...million dollar condos popping up on our block and well...there goes the neighborhood...hate that shiz, but hopefully they made out handsomely.
Agree I believe Pruitt is micromanaging, hope not but I think he is?Just speculation but I don't think Chaney has the final say on who the QB is. And if he did, it most likely wouldn't be JG.

From BHH's recent blog:
"Tennessee is really pushing to get me to reclassify to 2021. They talk about it the most I’d say. I’m open to it, but it really all depends on how I feel after the season. "

This is nothing more than wild speculation.Just speculation but I don't think Chaney has the final say on who the QB is. And if he did, it most likely wouldn't be JG.

Not to interupt your forum tantrum too much, but how is it more speculative than what you are saying? This is nothing more than wild speculation.
If an experienced offensive coordinator is worth his salt, and he is completely handcuffed by an inexperienced head coach to the degree that he can't even play the quarterback that he wants, then he should resign and go elsewhere. Chaney is a problem whether it is his decision to stick with JG or he is letting Pruitt dictate that decision to him.Not to interupt your forum tantrum too much, but how is it more speculative than what you are saying?
Either Pruitt or Chaney have the final say on who starts at QB. Considering we have no way to prove it is either one of them, saying JG is Chaney's guy is just as much of a "wild speculation" as saying JG is Pruitt's guy.
Yeah then he threw like 3 interceptions in the endzone and couldn’t stay healthy.Lol just message board assumptions and freak out. Kid didn’t have a spring or fall camp. Coaches don’t throw out freshman sometimes when they have those and people expected they would throw him out there in anything but garbage duty? The real head scratcher is why Maurer hasn’t gotten more rep not Bailey. Maurer brought life to the offense last year. He brought more options to table.
Basically have people freaking out over AP opinion that in today’s game you need someone with legs to make a play when it breaks down. He is right and that is what coaches lean toward now but it doesn’t mean the staff thinks HB is a bust.
Don't think anyone has said that. Maybe it is how VQ feels (wgaf) and maybe Chaney isn't the highest on him...ok...but if he is actually good none of that matters. He will get his opportunities once he actually has a Spring camp lol. Guy has simply walked into the worst possible situation and guys ranked similar to him here at UT in the past (minus Bray) all needed time to develop. So HB is an afterthought? Is that the consensus now? Sad that they won’t give the kid a chance and seems Chaney has thrown him aside.
Chaney or Smart? I would argue it may have been more Smart than Chaney. The argument that our coaching staff leans toward a mobile QB over a pocket QB makes no sense whatsoever. Chaney started Fromm over Fields and watched him transfer to Ohio State and become a Heisman Trophy candidate.
