This goes to what I said earlier about him being used to having thoroughbreds. When you have studs at every position it's always about execution. When you don't have superior talent at every position it emphasizes scheme and coaching. He can't coach up lessor talented teams.

Thats what I see as well. He also isn't recruiting well enough to have the horses to win.
