Sadly I do too but he’s not going to make it here. He does too much off the wall game managing and I really don’t see the fire in him this year as I did the first two.

I think we are reaching a point in the road where everyone is starting to check out on UT football. Patience is barely hanging on. The administration knows it is barely hanging on and they can’t afford for football to not bring in money.

I doubt he is safe. I dont know for sure but I know my VFL will be talking to Fulmer soon and he will get some intel. I highly doubt we keep a lame duck coach who will draw zero interest from the fanbase a year longer if we only win three games.

We can't afford the buyout this year with COVID driving down revenue. He'll get next year. Besides, what loser will we hire next? You guys are dreaming if you think we'll outbid anyone for a name coach. We'll pick from the bargain bin all over again.

He shouldn’t be safe this year with a commodity like Freeze out there. SOMEONE will hire him. UT will be among the group who uses covid as an excuse not to and we will suck for another decade.

Fulmer screwed up and gave him an extension that we can't afford to buy him out of this year with revenue down. Right now, the best we can hope for is he keeps the recruiting class together so we'll at least have some good players. That is, if they don't transfer. Probably will and Tennessee football will never recover. We might as well accept we're Vanderbilt East.

Not sure where you're getting your hope, but I've used all of mine up. I have no faith in Phil or anyone else getting right.

I disagree. I’ve never seen or heard about VFLs being so fed up before. I know Metal hangs out with some too and I hope he posts some thoughts as well.
