You think status quo saves the recruiting class? Throwing out what’s being thrown out on the field is embarrassing and what kid wants to sign up for a program without a pulse? Guarantano isn’t our best chance to win, so do something different.

Don't disagree and if the season continues I'm all for the youth movement. I don't think getting massacred every week helps with recruiting. If we do play all we do is give more fodder for our enemies about how bad we are and enforce the notion that Pruitt is really bad and will not survive in the short term. At least by not playing you leave some doubt.

I'll be honest to lose anyone other than HB in the qb room is not a problem. Haven't heard anything about a transfer but it happens, and as a coach you just have the next guy ready to play. Your 2nd question as it pertains to the locker room, absolutely not. The kids believe in 90% of what CJP says and follows his lead. CJP is an old school leader of men. He knows how to rally the troops. I was just down there to handle some business and the energy was very positive. The last question is definitely a head scratcher but I was very upset and had to ask this myself. They basically felt as a staff HB was not ready nor did the trust Strout. Then there was the multiple issues with Mauer from trust to injury bug. So they went with the head ache over the unknown. Just know I was told there are changes coming.

I have noticed something strange and disturbing about VN.
We win the first two games of the season, it was actually pretty easy for me to keep at least close to current in the RF.
We lose games and it’s next to impossible to keep up without skipping pages.

Seems that there is more to talk about after a loss. That’s kinda miserable.

I think you're right. The pain of losing is felt much more strongly in VN than the exhilaration of winning. At least with many of our posters.
