Until I see a mass exodus of recruits, there’s no reason to fire the HC. Seasons a wash. It. Does. Not. Matter.
And yes, landing a top class is important. In a year like this, it’s more important than winning.
How ironic is it that Fanduel Sportsbook ran a sure thing on Vandy/UK today, two teams we should never lose to but have came with more regularity as of late
And if every damn Vol fan in the state had capitalized on it, we could have all donated the free $45 in winnings to send the Gump and Co. packing and bring in Freeze without needing donor approval or worrying about finances.
Fanduel literally tried to pay for our coaching search today....
It’s pretty bad when the recruits that “only care about winning” have more faith in a program than the actual fans of said team.Agreed. This is a week to week season unless you’re an Alabama or Clemson or other clear elite team. (No, Georgia, you’re not included because Kirby )
There is no consistency or rhyme or reason this season. It’s all a wash.
No suggest getting a good class isn’t important means you need to get a grip.
Teams are still letting recruits visit. NCAA will not do anything. All teams are doing it and many are paying their way. NCAA just turns their head and no one will report another school. Reporting someone else is the quickest way to never have a job coaching again. How are people visiting? Is it virtual or are they on campus just taking a tour without meeting any coaches? I thought the NCAA stopped all visits due to Covid?
