If Bailey has a full offseason to compete against JG, he starts week 1.
I wholeheartedly do not believe anyone would have started but JG. The fact that he didn’t start against Arkansas after a bye is telling. I think every fan could have dealt with a loss to Arkansas if we played Bailey. Continuing to play JG and still losing is unacceptable.

Teams are still letting recruits visit. NCAA will not do anything. All teams are doing it and many are paying their way. NCAA just turns their head and no one will report another school. Reporting someone else is the quickest way to never have a job coaching again.
Well, if that's the case, have they also turned a blind eye to buying players due to Covid? Just asking for a friend :):)

Before the season Volnation: 5-8 wins. Anything less than five and Pruitt isn’t the guy.

During the season: Worry about recruiting. We have to give him five years. Seasons a wash.

It’s amazing what we accept as a program now. We fired a hall of fame coach after a ten win season and now we are accepting two to three wins. If Pruitt had started Bailey game one, we would have won four or more games. It is coaching malpractice the way we have managed the QB position and that is on Pruitt.
When...did we fire a football coach after a 10 win season? Fulmer was fired after his second 5 win season in 4 years.

I’d like to see what the insiders are saying about Pruitts future after a Vandy loss. Will Fulmer be firmly in his corner then?

I think he will be. They will blame COVID and hope that the cluster**** of a season provides enough of a distraction/excuse. This university is 15-0 when it comes to sitting on its hands and being forced to act rather than being proactive to stop the bleeding.
