In all deference to AV, I have reviewed all of the highlights and film available that I could find on our current commitments. In total they look no different than what the staff have recruited previously. I cannot speak to their mental make-up, just what I saw athletically. In fact, the last class of players looks better to me than this one in all but a handful of cases. Maybe he has hopes for Salter and DT type QB's.

Will see how it goes, but I am not buying any more hype or happy BS. Prove it up on the field by developing the players you have.

Last class didn’t have anybody in the same conversation as Brooks, Lewis or Willis. Definitely not in their position groups.

I can see how it read that way. I was saying he won ten games the last year before getting fired going 5-7. And Chizik lasted four years. He had one good year and the rest were bad. Phil had great heads for most of his career. They are not even comparable situations.

Got fired TWO years after winning 14 games! They’re comparable.

I agree in some spots, but we have sone high caliber players in other areas. One of the biggest spots I see a weakness at our the receiver commits. They all seem big and slow.
