Take a look at the high profile candidates that interviewed for any of our HC jobs since Fulmer... few and far between. Our reach out to list and sit down list are staying in different hotels...

He took over during the middle of Schianogate and every coach was scared to come here. Way different situation now.

Actually they weren’t. They have 8 conference championships since joining the Big South around 2002. They’ve transitioned to FBS now, and I was told their football facilities are unbelievable for a program of its stature. Western Carolina is still FCS, and the record of their current coach is 32-60.

I know us as Vol fans have just become empathetic, but damn we need to get off our asses like we did to block the Schiano hire. Hit the streets every damn day until the deal is done. Lol I don't know, just incredibly frustrating fans even have to think like that. If they deny us after that, it's a big middle finger right in our faces. And we know to never support this ****** ass program again until all those clueless ass old people move on or you know what else. I'm sorry for being cold, but it's the truth. Until there's drastically different people in charge there it's not going to get better unless us fans force their hands.

It only takes one or two major donors to decide that they’ve had enough of the crappy hire, fire, rinse and repeat cycle we’ve been in. It may take only one to decide they’ve finally had enough of the irrelevancy and want to win again.

I know the pandemic has really hurt financially, but if the right boosters decide enough is enough, Freeze and the buyouts can be taken care of.

Obviously someone of that stature has to come to that conclusion. I wish I was in that position because I’ve certainly had enough.
