If Pruitt is canned and the administration decides to go safe and relatively cheap again what about Chip Long? I know we've discussed him ad nauseum for the OC position but looking at his resume he is just as qualified as Pruitt was when hired. Also known as a great recruiter. I know some are gonna feel it off the wall and a desperation hire but with offensive head coaches seeming to be the new trend in college and the pros I believe he could be an intriguing option.

Put the flask down Johnny

To save somebody else's job who makes less than me? Easy.
Absolutely if it meant saving my secretary’s job. Especially if I was making high 6-figures or more.
I did this year, so that my staff still got paid...

Good for y’all being in a higher up position with secretary’s and staff and sacrificing for them. I’m a new grad fresh in the workforce.... my boss could take the voluntary pay cut and shove it 🤣🤣

He was nudged out according to ND fans. Players did not like him.

Like I said last night. Wisconsin does more with less. Just a bunch of no name rando football guys coaching up 3*s.

You’re not wrong (they’re prob the B1G team I root for when they’re playing all other B1G teams), but their skill players who start are all pretty much either composite 4* or 247 4*.

Not sure about the OL but they develop them so well I don’t think star ratings even matter.

Their defense on the other hand, from what I can tell, is loaded with 3*.

But I agree they consistently do more with less.

By now he should know he's toast no matter what and be happy that he's about to get a second huge unearned SEC buyout

And he’ll wind up on an SEC staff shortly after. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s reunited with Saban for the first time since his LSU days.

Actually they weren’t. They have 8 conference championships since joining the Big South around 2002. They’ve transitioned to FBS now, and I was told their football facilities are unbelievable for a program of its stature. Western Carolina is still FCS, and the record of their current coach is 32-60.
Ok. I never cared about watching them until the last couple of weeks. I'm in the "just keep Pruitt, unless you can get Freeze this year" camp. Normally a QB's stat line from Liberty University wouldn't get my attention but our 5th year QB sucks and it's fun to imagine a proven SEC head coach, for example Hugh Freeze, here with Bailey and the freshmen receivers. I know it's weird to some people for others to be hopeful like that.

*To answer your original question, no I didn't get to watch the whole Liberty game. We had a B-day party for my 16 year old this afternoon. They were up 21-7 when we left.

**I also missed the Big Orange play today. That probably sounds a little weird to some people in here too.
