If Freeze wants to coach in the SEC, he'll probably wait till next year. None of the schools he seems to want are likely to make a move this year.
and in 2021, with three solid cruitin' classes. If Cornbread regresses more. He gone.

Losses arent as bad as lack of competitiveness.

IDT anybody is under any illusion that CJP is a long-termer at UT-- and that includes CJP. And recruiting is what it is. But the other part of that equation is keeping the young players we already have and making them believe UT football can be fun again-- the sooner the better. UT is a miserable place right now. The young guys aren't as jaded and ready to fold as the older guys. They still believe.

Pruitt not wanting to be a long termer here even with success. And you guys wonder why I hate him. I wish we could hire Freeze but no one is listening.

No one ever thought he was a long termer. Just win, all the silly talk goes away.

Good to see you, Jacket.

Just doesn't seem to be an ideal fit long-term. UT needs things he's not great at. And nobody thought UT was his dream job. And that's cool. Doesn't mean it shouldn't be productive for both sides.

But we are gonna give him two more years regardless?

What has he shown so far to make Bama interested in him being a future HC there?
Bama knows what kind of DC he is with the talent they'll have. They'll give him a bigger budget and he will have all the recruiting advantages Saban has. If he can get this program to 8 wins ish for a couple years then I think Bama takes a chance on him.

One more year regardless imo. Don't even think 2-8 gets him fired because of the ole covid excuse.

Lmao when we let a coach go 2-8 and 0-9 against our rivals with blowout losses and we don't fire him. Program has given up. COVID isn't an excuse because everyone has dealt with it but Fulmer loves it because it means he gets to pretend there isn't a problem for another 12 months.

we dont have the money to move. we're still paying the last choke.

Sounds like the same as when we opined what if Alabama came calling two years ago.
