Crap news everywhere in life and Vol fandom..but there is still so much beauty in the world. I got this shot last week on a backroad somewhere in North Carolina close to Roan Mountain..

It's beautiful but something about our landscape when the trees lose their leaves has always looked so incredibly lonely to me. I used to live on top of a ridge in the middle of nowhere. In the summer, spring and fall I could look out and see a small valley and another set of ridges and the sight was breathtaking. Many times we'd get to see mist wind its way across the land and it would just look magical, as though we lived in a movie where gods and magic roamed, and I never knew what rain and thunder REALLY sounded like until I lived there, but in the winter time there was no place on Earth that looked sadder and more alone.

After Prince died, I read up a little on him and that entire skit which was already hilarious became ever more hilarious. Apparently, Prince really was super-competitive and he was actually a damn good basketball player despite being vertically challenged. Prince was the type of guy that even if the game was tiddly-winks he wanted to beat your @ss at it, lol. He took no prisoners when anything was remotely competitive..
Google Jimmy Fallon’s ping pong game with Prince.

Tiger haters make me chuckle. He is one of the best ever.
I don't hate Tiger. I hate the fact that the media still thinks he can play at the level of young Tiger and he can't. He's had tons of surgeries and it takes him 5 hours to get his body ready for tournament play. He was great but he isn't anymore but the media hangs on his every shot.

I’m jealous of the coaching search and hope that South Carolina fans are about to experience.

I know folks keep saying that Pruitt isn’t going to be fired this year and maybe that’s true. But what I know for a fact is that his seat is at the very least warm right now and if he doesn’t win another game this fall it’s going to be boiling and they’ll be forced to make a change.

If South Carolina has indeed fired Muschamp it will be interesting to see what they can pay the next coach. People were calling for Muschamp to be gone after they lost to us the 1st week, but most media said it was unfeasible because of how much he was owed (more than we owe Pruitt apparently). They also have a lot of assistants on multi year deals like Bobo, Robinson, and McClendon.

I bet McClendon will end up here. Pruitt has been after him in the past.
I don't think McClendon is there anymore.

Well, I remember the story was, Currie could have locked up Mullen earlier, but waited too long. Florida found a convenient story to fire Sharkboy for cause. Florida was turned down by Kelly and Frost. They fired McElwain at end of Oct. Jones was canned 2 weeks later. This Florida has a two week start (time for Frost and Kelly to turn them down). Currie had Mullen as #1 choice, but when he ghosted Curry after final game of season. Currie fell back on his insurance policy hire, Schiano.

I've always heard Schiano was his guy all along and was just interviewing the likes of Mullen just to appear he was doing something lol but your way is possible as well. All I know is we could of gotten Mullen if Currie was more on the ball about it.

He was always going to wait for Florida.

I know for a fact that the MSU coaching staff all thought they were heading to Knoxville...and then Florida swooped in at the last minute.

I’m not as worried about Freeze going to South Carolina. I think Napier will be the first they call, and that’s his roots. And looking at Auburn’s schedule, I believe they’ll finish 7-3 and Gus gets another year.

He shot a 3 at LSU and high fived the bench behind him as soon as he let it go. He played with so much passion. I loved watching Dane Bradshaw.

I was cleaning up my rec room the other day and found the book he wrote, Vertical Leap. He was my favorite VFL from the Bruce Pearl era.
I was pretty close, but I loved him as a player. He is great on the SECN also, if he is still doing that.

Yes I believe it was...we went over the mountain to Bakersville, then around to Red Hill and Huntdale area along the river (I think that is what it was called) and then through Poplar on to Erwin...I can't remember exactly where it was though..I was just driving by, and saw the beautiful shot with the trees, old stone wall and barn and stopped to take a few pics. I used the vignette edit because I thought it was perfect for that old rustic feel.
Sounds right. I’m from Roan Mountain, still a beautiful place but it’s changing for the worst.

Man!...I was truly blessed yesterday!..what are the odds of all 3 of those things happening yesterday?...just not having one could have throw it all off...super wild

Nice move sir. I took the Oregon bet as well. Taking Stanford +10.5 at the last moment worked out also. Unfortunately, Trask ripped me good even without Pitts 😫 Wish I was in TN rn so I could get in on those freebies like Vandy +70.5 😭

Check this card out (not mine)...$1 to win $2 million lol. Like playing the lottery on some of these sites.
