We see freshmen and sophomores running Kiffin's O and scoring points in bunches. We see Sark taking talent that includes underclassmen and they are scoring in bunches. We see Meh taking anything he can get his hands on even if they are dumber than dirt Gators and unrated, and they are scoring in bunches. We see Freeze taking a nothing program and beating the P-5's that are willing to play them with mediocre to unranked talent.

Not buying the dumb players, playbook is so complex, etc. BS. Bad coaches unable to scheme an O to the talent they have and develop the players enough to do their jobs well - at least the ones that get to play that "practice" well in Jeremy's world. Same old tired song, third verse over a dozen years. If that's how the boosters and Phil think, this program is totally in the tank.

Think it drops a few million.
Yup, but you're paying JP his full amount if retained. Plus a 200k retention bonus in February. Plus APR bonus. The buyout is 60% of his base.

Obviously it increases total future outlays, since you have to pay the next staff, but not sure if the difference between now and next year should be a huge factor in the decision.

The financial difference between firing now and never firing him at all is big. But between now and in 1 year, not so much.

On that page another vol fan posted a screenshot of freeze messaging him as well.

Definitely strange behavior.

Imagining being the head coach of a program and you’re DM’ing fans of another program. Weird look.
Means he truly is looking for a way to get here. If not this season, next.

Going into year 4 and Pruitt needs to overhaul his staff, again, and bring in multiple QB transfers?

When are we going to stop moving the goal posts and realize it’s time to move on from the Pruitt era?

This. Did we not learn this with the past two coaches? It’s so clear that Pruitt isn’t long for this job. Delaying the inevitable is insanity, especially when you have the closest thing we can get to a sure thing sitting there.

I'm old enough to remember Kiffin whipping folks with Crompton, the Sullins brothers on O-line, and Montario Hardesty using high school plays that only required Crompton to read half the field.

WTF was Chaney doing in the booth at that time? Thumbing through a complex playbook they didn't use?

What about Cordarelle Patterson and Tyler "the worst back tat the world has ever seen" Bray? They weren't sharp tools, either.

Exactly, simply and let then air it out. IT CAN NOT BE ANY WORSE.

It is the most frustrating thing.

Also discussing the divided locker room. I will say it was already somewhat divided before we started due to Covid. There were a lot of kids who wanted to opt out and they were put under extreme pressure by all sides to stay on the field especially since the vast majority of our team was not practicing due to TN contact tracing rules.

I think a lot of that contempt has bubbled up from earlier and we are seeing some of it on the field.
Yeah, that’s about the worst case scenario I could have imagined. They have lost all confidence in Pruitt because he put the program over their individual safety.

Yeah. That’s hard to defend, there. It’d been more understandable and excusable for the season to have gone the way it has if we had had the mass opt outs or something. This is not a good look 😔
