I kept telling everyone he wasn't a statue. He had a terrible OL his 1st three years of high school and could have been sacked virtually every time he dropped back. He was excellent at moving around the pocket and delivering the ball though. He would stand in there knowing he was going to get drilled.

I've seen him move out the pocket and pick up good yardage before going out of bounds. It seems he has efficient enough speed. Moves well in the pocket with both hands on the ball just like they teach them.

Yeah that was the biggest difference I saw in Bailey. He felt the pressure while keeping his head up down field. He’s already doing that as a true freshman.

Not sure what you are watching. I played the position. He's got a cannon and when he needs to, he has touch. Not sure why you don't think he throws hard because that is just wrong.

He reminds me a little bit of Peyton. He's a little awkward the way he carries himself. Throws a very catchable ball. He has good pocket awareness. I like his potential. He should be the starter from here on out. They benched JG last year and brought him off the bench. JG played better off the bench IMO. Not sure why he's so stubborn now.

Prevent defense's wish

So far HB still only throwing 18% to the middle. Maybe more schematic than we hope still...unfortunately.

That is a consideration. Need more data. The best way to get that data is to play HB the entire game the rest of the season.

If Phil keeps Jeremy around for next season, he needs fired along with Jeremy. He's no stranger to being fired by UT. Randy Boyd has the ability alone to handle the firings and help with generating the booster donations to accomplish the appropriate new hires at each position. There is no way back from here. It's over. Jeremy wants fired, just like Botch before him and Dools before that. We kept each a year longer than was justified even with them wanting out because the university and the AD were not ready with the replacement. The program sank lower into the muck financially and athletically. Which is why we are a bottom feeder yet again.

Randy Boyd, the major boosters, and the BOT have plenty of time to get the replacement now. Freeze, Napier, Sark - make the call to the agent(s) and get it ready. The revenue stream will jump and they will be out of the hole relatively quickly. I hope for once in their lives they send a message that they will only accept excellence in the one sport that provides for nearly their whole athletic budget. Otherwise they will be cutting many non-revenue generating sports, which hurts public relations and reduces their ability to gain student enrollments.

I saw that same QB take a sack on a hail marry with 2 weeks to throw it. That's in a nutshell sums up JG. Doesn't have it, never had it, never will. His game awareness including pocket awareness is as bad as I've ever seen it.

Pruitt's balls are ice cold. He doesn't give two crapolas about this job. He can stay and work next year or he can go get coordinator job and make $1mil on top of the $12mil he will make from UT.

The buyout concept is so strange to me. What would be wrong with contract pay on a per win basis? Like saying "We'll give you $800,000 per win. You want to be the highest paid coach in the country? Go undefeated. No buyouts. Just effing win!"
