Eh, there were some super soft coverages on wr. Didn't say they weren't blitzing, but they weren't in the same mindset as the first half.

The people calling the game dont agree with you and one played SEC ball at the QB position... They commented that twice in the game Auburn was throwing everything at he young QB, Once in the first drive and again on the second. But yeah let's go with the poster on a chat boards opinion.

I am actually fine with him defending Chaney tonight. The play calling and offensive game plan was good enough to win tonight

We did get 466 yards and I think we only punted 2 or 3 times. Woefully inept inside the 30, though, except for the first drive and HB TD drive.

Doug Mathews focusing on the positives from last night and just said no change at HC now and will possibly get next year or more. Said there would be staff changes. Turned it off as he is merely spewing CPF stance. Hope admin likes seeing half full (if that) stadium next year.

I will say this, Bailey is the best real QB I’ve seen play since probably Ainge (under Cut).

We’ve had a lot of either great athletes (Dobbs) or big arm talents (Bray) but not a legit QB in awhile. God I hope we hire a HC that will turn him into a Heisman candidate.

I am very high on Bailey, but come on. Bray did not just have a big arm. He had some head issues, for sure, but he was a great QB. And Dobbs set records. Is Bailey better than everyone else since Ainge? I need to see more, sorry.

I think this is the first time I have ever seen this board basically in complete agreement that this cornbread needs to go... I haven't seen a single poster on here as of this week still defending this guy who clearly doesn't even want to be here anymore... Now there are debates on how long he lasts, but I haven't seen anyone who still feels like we need to give this guy more time at this point and will magically turn things around... CRAZY

I had high hopes that the light would kick on, much like it did for Ainge when Cut came back. There was no doubt from the first series that Ainge was about to have a great season.

The problem with JG seems to be that he has always, and will always, be an in accurate passer and now that’s compounded by him going into a shell when he faces any kind of adversity. When he does that, he reverts to bad habits.

I have never seen a fifth year qb with the amount of reps he’s gotten stare down a receiver like that on a pick six, bc most fifth year seniors who do that aren’t on scholarship any more.

It’s wild to me that such a defensive minded coach is willing to keep trotting out JG to turn the ball over.

My only answer is that Pruitt sees this year as a mulligan, and didn’t want to turn Bailey into the same damaged goods as he inherited with JG.

But still, damn it, man. Every time he trots JG he’s stealing reps from the future.

I'm not sure he needs to be fired. He should not be fired this year unless we can get Urban Meyer or someone of that level (Freeze is not on that level). He is clearly not Saban or Dabo. But I am torn on whether giving him time to recruit and develop Bailey will show him to be serviceable over the short to medium term.

He has clearly made a grave miscalculation by putting his continued trust in JG, but I'm gonna reserve judgement on how good he can make this D with some time. If Bailey starts and improves, things will slowly get better
