I guarantee more recruits have heard of Tee Martin than Jamey Chadwell. Not saying Tee is at the top of my list, but I’d roll with him before I rolled the dice with Chadwell.
I don’t think I want to see Tee he the head coach. Because if for whatever reason he doesn’t succeed then the fans will turn on him. He does not deserve that. Ever. Dude is the only national championship winning QB in program history that is still alive (I don’t know this for sure but it’s likely)

And even more have heard of Tennessee than either. Hire the best coach available. Between those two? That’s Chadwell easy. I’d trust him with actually using the talent properly. Not that he’s a top candidate personally.

See.. You say that... But that's not what happens here...

Here's our resume...
Fired Hof coach that won a Natty
The coach you brought in to replace him left after 1 year for what he, at least he, thought is a better job.
You're told no by everyone on the next list... Until Dooley said yes.

We fired him after bottoming out again...
Was told no again by several before Butch Jones.. Who actually beat UGA twice Ave ended the FL streak..
Then 2017 happened.

And now you're firing the lucky sob that actually was desperate enough to say yes to this mess and we're now gonna go hand pick the "right coach"?

Lol.

Pruitt will be back next year. Bank on it.
I don’t like this logic. Can I say it’s fake news to fit a different narrative, please?

It has to be a Covid situation? How’s that work exactly? Go back to the Spanish Flu? He’s not being run for Covid existing...it would be for losing his team at the same level as Dooley and Butch.
I was referencing Covid impacting the University's budget. The budget is a wreck. That makes firing a coach you just signed to a new contract even less likely.

A few questions to ponder...

If Sexton is the agent for both Freeze and Pruitt, if Fulmer wanted to approach Freeze, is he obligated to go through Sexton? If so is Sexton obligated to not share that info with Pruitt? I realize this contact is through back channels but it would be interesting to know if Pruitt would catch wind of these "gauging interest" type of events.
I personally think its the other way around. It starts with Sexton. He puts a bug in Fulmer ear. Fulmer decides to make the hire. Pruitt gets his buyout (Sexton profits) and Freeze signs the contract (Sexton profits) and we go forward. It's basically the same page of the book he wrote at Florida with McElwain and Mullen. Its crazy. Not claiming the above is accurate btw. It's just how I've understood it.
