If you notice a few things notice this.

I posted AV was connected and could manipulate the board per connections in a post about carrying his water. He thank me.

Another poster said something along the lines of the same thing and AV said first, you are perspective and later was not sarcasm. The post the other poster made was why don’t you tell us how you really feel.

He has real info but is tightly connected and will try to make things look better. In other words, certain folks are watching him and telling him at times what to feed us. He even said one time he was told to watch what he posted about the QB’s and practice.

Just some perspective this morning.

Not so much that he's a propagandist, more to do with his (and more importantly, his source's) anonymity being jeopardized by disseminating the very specific information that he's told first hand.

And you're right, this board is monitored.

This is the type of ignorance that is always so humorous during a " coaching search" at UT.
We’ll agree to disagree and you can go have fun chasing a fart in the wind then with some “up-and-comer”. For those in that camp you’ll just be back in here in 2025 (if not sooner) hashing out the same debate. “I want a PROVEN HC.” “Well, who is PROVEN?” “I don’t know, maybe Napier, Chadwell, Holliday or how about Healy?” 🤪🤡 The list goes on and on.

Maybe I don’t have a say in the matter seeing as I’ve cut all my financial support, other than intermittent viewership, but this administration is a complete joke in terms of making a sound hire of it’s AD and football HC. They better get this next hire right, not for my sake, but they are on the verge of being less relevant than Vandy if they don’t have direct results (9+ wins competing for 1st in SECE) in no less than 3-4 years (of the next coaching hire). IF THEY CARE about those direct results in addition to increasing revenue for the long term then they need to make an absolute home run hire. IF THEY DON’T CARE, eh, on to bigger and better things with our weekends. It shouldn’t be that hard of a decision for us fans. We’ll find out what they do care about soon enough.

@Atlanta VOL If we lose to Vandy this weekend, what is your prediction on how Fulmer will handle the situation? Will Boyd be in Fulmer's corner if he desires to make a change? TIA
There's no way he's gonna put himself out there and answer a question like that on a message board. I'm sure he's privy to some of the inside workings surrounding our football program but that could change pretty quickly if he spills it on a message board. Just let it play out and see what the end of the season brings in the way of changes. My guess is that we'll be looking for a number of assistants and not a head coach.

Sound like recipe for success. If Pruitt is viewd as lame duck, quality assistants will be hard to find. Thats how Dooley endes up with Sunseri.

Disagree. It’s served it’s purpose. Here in the next few months it’ll start to fall of the radar and eventually be an afterthought.
I don't know about that. One of the guys I play golf with contacted Covid last week and had to be admitted to the hospital today. It's not looking good. You guys can joke about this sh^t all you want but you may change your tune when it gets close to home. The vaccine can't get here fast enough for me.

I'm really just more interested to know if Boyd will back him.

SEVERAL INDUSTRY SOURCES SAY TENNESSEE IS THE PREFERRED LANDING SPOT FOR FREEZE. TENNESSEE CERTAINLY COULD WAIT A YEAR, SEE WHETHER PRUITT IMPROVES THE PROGRAM IN 2021 AND THEN MAKE A RUN AT FREEZE. BUT A POOR FINISH, ESPECIALLY A LOSS THIS WEEK AGAINST WINLESS VANDERBILT, OR A SOUTH CAROLINA PUSH FOR FREEZE, COULD CHANGE THE THOUGHT PROCESS.

“TENNESSEE’S ALWAYS IN PLAY,” AN INDUSTRY SOURCE SAID.”

Per Adam Rittenberg of ESPN

Also,

Serious question for @de1conley , @HankHill , @Atlanta VOL Or whoever else knows what’s going on...

When JG was in against Auburn who was calling the plays?

When HB was in against Auburn who was calling the plays?

Because whoever was calling for JG had a limited playbook. The playbook opened up significantly for Bailey. It was like they weren’t limited anymore.

I would seriously like to know. Thanks.
Chaney has full power. Someone else could’ve been calling plays but honestly to me, the offense looked exactly the same in what limited things you could go by.

If i had to bet on it i think there’s multiple voices involved in the game script because in the first few drives we ran a few mesh concepts (we haven’t done that all year) ... one to velus on a big play and we also had a HB wheel route and angle route that were successful.....
the game goes on and we don’t see that.

Reading the South Carolina board and the Monken stuff is like their Schiano. He's a name they keep hearing...everyone blew that off when Hubbs kept saying that. It really looks like it may happen, him or Beamer.

I can understand them not liking the hire, but what terrible thing has Monken supposedly done that gives them leverage to use mock outrage to block the hire?

Man it looked so much more different to me. Lol maybe it’s just because Bailey spreads the ball around more.

Question, people talk about the offense being different between the two, but could it just be JG rarely, if ever, looks past his first progression and HB actually reads the play?
