I’m really going to get suckered into to believing we turn it around next year and Pruitt improves and HB is an elite QB. Is this class elite? No but they’re are good peices and we have plenty of young talent on the roster. I’d gladly take a new coach if it were Freeze, Campbell, or another proven Power 5 winner but I think this transfer rule will really hurt us if we went with an up and coming coach. Players like Pruitt. I’m a fool.

That’s why I’m sick of hearing about this staff’s recruiting ability. It’s impossible to out-recruit Saban, and these guys suck at talent development anyway.

Let’s get a guy that is an elite evaluator and developer, even if he isn’t an elite recruiter. Guess what...once people figure out he’s an elite developer, he’ll be a great recruiter too.

Yep. Bama doesn’t even have to pitch/convince anyone anymore. They did in Saban’s first few years there, but not anymore. All the elite talent just wants to go there, and they choose the ones they want.
