No buyout?? No excuses. If we are doing this, start at the top of the top echelon of coaches. Make them all tell you no. And then you make them tell you again. Then and only then do you come down to a Fickell, Napier, etc.. And i mean no slight towards those guys. They are fine coaches in their own right.

When people say a good coach can come in and win 8 games with this roster or talent, my first thoughts are ok, if a good coach can do that then what does an Urban, Stoops level coach do? 10+ wins? Thats how I see it. I'm not saying those are remotely even options, but just that's the pool I want to be swimming in. Stop selling ourselves short. Get the absolute best we can, not the best deal

We should accept the bowl invite for the extra practices with the new coach if this happens. Don’t care if we win or lose. We need as big a jump as we can get because we don’t know what spring looks like with Covid and the regulations with it.

I would rather promote tee and wait a year. Locking into a 4th repeat is typical decision making from UT
