Young $ will be around a lot longer than old $ if the natural life cycle stays in tact of all those involved. Maybe a morbid say to look at it, but probably a smart one. Plus old $ has proven they're out of touch the past decade anyways.

To your point tho, I’m not vested. I didn’t go to UT, rarely get to games, but grew up in East TN as a Vol fan.
I’m sure PM does a lot for the vols. Doubt KC does, but dunno.

I get it. Enjoy mediocrity then. The bar should not and never be simply better than what we have. If you want a ceiling of 7, maybe an occasional 8/9 win season then sure hire one of those guys.

Then by all means please list the guys that we have a realistic shot at that will lift us out of mediocrity.
