What we're seeing happen at Auburn is the biggest drawback to a coaching search right now. Don't you think most in the general public would rate Auburn as a better job than Tennessee? Unless we know we can fire him for cause, we should only pull the trigger if we know we've got the guy that we want.

Chadwell and Napier have both made strong statements with their decision making so far, and we don't have any proof that Freeze has even been seriously considered by the likes of South Carolina and Auburn. Are you comfortable canning Pruitt with a buyout or at least a settlement, if we're gonna get a guy in tier below the aforementioned coaches?

I think 99% of Volnation wants any sitting HC with an offensive specialty over Pruitt.
