I’ve been here long enough to see our fans extremely offended that x program is said to be a better job than UT

To now we are arguing the point of “well if he didn’t go there, he’s definitely not coming here!”

Funny not funny.

Auburn is firing a coach off of an 8 year tenure. We are (hopefully) firing a coach off of a 3 year tenure.

Auburn's big games every year are Bama, Georgia, LSU. Our big games are Bama, Georgia, Florida.

Neither of those claims make any sense.
He also had almost a 70% winning record and was 6-4 this year. Pruitt is less than 50%, more blow out losses in three years than our previous two failures combined, and is 3-7 this year. Not comparable.

There’s no question we need a CEO and great coordinators that can develop all levels of talent.

So my question is:

In the small pool of realistic candidates that have been named, are any of them good recruiters?

As much as we want great coaching, recruiting Ian the lifeblood of any program.

I don’t follow other teams/coaches so I have very little idea about Napier, Chadwell, etc.

Explain the Strickland dunking on Currie clause of that sentence like I'm 5. Please.

Currie thought he had Mullen locked up, and Strickland swooped and offered him the Florida job. Mullen took the Florida job. I don’t know how comparable the offers were...

Auburn.
