Auburn is firing a coach off of an 8 year tenure. We are firing a coach off of a 3 year tenure.

Auburn's big games every year are Bama, Georgia, LSU. Our big games are Bama, Georgia, Florida.

Neither of those claims make any sense.

Maybe leash wasn’t the best wording. I’m referring more to expectations than years. No way Auburn would hold onto Dooley after he lost to Kentucky, and no way they even consider holding on to Pruitt after this mess. UT offers more mulligans, is probably a better way to put it.

Anyone in the east has an easier road to get to Atlanta, and if you get there, anything could happen. It is much tougher to be the team that goes to Atlanta out of your division instead of Bama.

It’s the truth. I remember a student telling me once they’d never heard of Georgia Southern before they beat Florida, but after that they started looking into it and decided that’s where they wanted to be. Obviously that’s just one student, but lots of academics really don’t appreciate the value and recruiting potential that good athletics programs bring.

Steele is a snake because the boosters wanted to hire him after Gus got fired? Jesus.

Maybe if Gus didn't want to get fired, he could have tried fielding an offense ranked in the top half of FBS. You know. The only side of the ball he works on.

I think HBO has declared docu-series dibs on the 2017 “event”. That one will generate an Emmy or two. They just have to tone it down to make it believable for the general audience.
