Hard to live with his "loyalty" when it's pledged to one individual rather than to the masses he represents. His job is to ensure the success of UT sports. Do you believe Pruitt is currently the best choice for that in football? I don't. Fulmer's first loyalty should be to doing what is best for the university.(This is not directed at you, SmokinBob)
He is no idiot. If his worst quality is his loyalty, then I can live with that. He doesn’t deserve the vitriol thrown at him through the latter half of this season. He isn’t a trained AD. And he didn’t hold a gun to anyone’s head for this job.
Pruitt is not a very good HC, we know that. We didn’t know this two months ago. For goodness sakes, several on this board had him in his avi and experts said he would be the best Saban disciple. Two months. That’s not a lot of time that’s gone by. Give him time to fix this. If any man deserves it, it’s him.
Well, Neid has definitely been quiet. I noticed it during signing day. He's usually rubbing it in and having a great time but.. crickets. Not having multiple quality players hit the transfer portal. We would be in for another 5 year rebuild unless we get a guaranteed winner which isn’t going to happen. Read Deerpark12 posts the last few days. It completely changed my perspective on the current predicament.
Like i said i have nothing to take up. Idc what the title on a paycheck may or may not say or if they are merged companies. Those people are present at all staff meetings, they are appointed by the university athletic department and much of what they do and say are dictated by said AD. They have the same obligations as other employees and they certainly are not going to go spouting off on public air waves anything that may harm this university. It’s exactly why VQ sat on this information and trey Wallace leaked it out. Idc to comment on this anymore because it doesn’t matter. Cats out of the bag. Last week when i said get your pop corn ready and that this was an internal issue... i meant it. I’m not getting online and going in full detail about stuff that could cost people their jobs that arent making Jeremy Pruitt money. There’s more people than just millionaire coaches that work in recruiting and compliance.I think a couple of guys in the know including one former Vol Network employee explained it to you last night. Take it up with them.
Pruitt’s lost the fanbase. Way more than either Dooley or Butch in their next to last seasons.Pruitt still being the coach means nothing. If the investigation is ongoing, and the investigation has implications for dismissal with cause, or more likely, forcing a negotiated (reduced) buyout, that process needs to finish before anything can happen. As both @LA Vol and @Atlanta VOL have suggested, things are happening, but do take time.
In meantime, I'm choosing to forego an emotional response, but because @Freak needs money for Christmas gifts, I suggest that all the negas continue to flex about being right and all of the posis should kick boxes of lightbulbs. I would ask that you not kick your dog though.
