Not surprising at all.
Fulmer and Co. Can't risk the fallout of getting blown off the field again...canceling the game makes it easier to not fire Potato head.
I think it makes his grand statement last night grander in it’s pure delusion.

Like i said i have nothing to take up. Idc what the title on a paycheck may or may not say or if they are merged companies. Those people are present at all staff meetings, they are appointed by the university athletic department and much of what they do and say are dictated by said AD. They have the same obligations as other employees and they certainly are not going to go spouting off on public air waves anything that may harm this university. It’s exactly why VQ sat on this information and trey Wallace leaked it out. Idc to comment on this anymore because it doesn’t matter. Cats out of the bag. Last week when i said get your pop corn ready and that this was an internal issue... i meant it. I’m not getting online and going in full detail about stuff that could cost people their jobs that arent making Jeremy Pruitt money. There’s more people than just millionaire coaches that work in recruiting and compliance.
As I said take it up with them. Their posts were plausible IMO over your posts. I’m going to spend my time here reading about Pruitt and the program now and not on the Vol Network. Good day to you.

Pruitt’s lost the fanbase. Way more than either Dooley or Butch in their next to last seasons.
I’ve been following the Vols since the early 80s. I’ve been on this board for 13 years. I’m die hard, not a casual fan.
but, I think I’m there - ready to check out. Don’t really care. I’ve withstood the ups and downs but at some point you realize - this is no longer worth my time.
I’m an optimist and I hope for an exciting change, but I’m also about two seconds away from just turning it all off.

No. Higher ups want to CLEAN HOUSE.

Isn’t it crazy how things change so quickly and drastically? Three years ago, this board despised Haslam’s (and other “higher ups”) influence on the program, wanted rid of an incompetent AD and then rejoiced at the hiring of Fulmer and then celebrated that Fulmer picked “his guy” who was a renowned coordinator and recruiter.

Now, the board wants the higher ups in control and wants Fulmer and Pruitt out.

Just an observation.

Maybe it's about to all go down tonight? I think the two tweets from Wes today could possibly mean, let's go Tennessee stop hanging this guy out and let's get on with it.
