That is what I have been saying till this violation investigation happened, but now I don't see how you can keep him..that is insane. Now...imo...there is absolutely no way he succeeds and all it will do is run the program even further into the ground if we keep him on with that hanging over his head.

Freeze is still my #1.

I think Napier has the best chance to be the next Freeze or Mullen without the baggage.

Chadwells team is nasty. I'm okay if this is where we land too. Because if has another great year somebody else will snatch him up before we make a move if we try to wait. He's worth a shot to me and would love to be here.

I think Napier/Chadwell would both be better than Malzahn. At least they would care about the Vols. I want somebody that wants to be here. They both have had more success than Dooley did and would fit the culture better than Butch did.

We say we want somebody that can handle the pressures of this job. Did Malzahn handle the pressure well at Auburn? Meh.

Whoever we end up with it will probably be a candidate none of us want. Will be the OC from UMASS

It's a combination of cheap boosters and the fact this job just isn't as sought-after as we want to think as people who live and die by it.

It was so much better when we used to argue if Pruitt would take the head-coaching job at Alabama when Saban retired. Now the question is how many head coaches will we go through before Saban retires.
