If he keeps Pruitt I’ll support that decision

if these ncaa issues become too much ill support that and hope like heck Fulmer makes the next hire .

I want fulmer running things and I freely admit his knowledge is vastly superior to mine and if our views of Pruitt differ which it appears they do I’ll yield to him!

I think the important criteria for a mid-major/G5 guy is that he needs to absolutely dominate those ranks. Freeze did/is again. Meyer did. Brian Kelly did. You can't hire a guy who only has "decent" success at a mid-major stop and expect him to succeed in the SEC. He needs to run roughshod over that schedule with comparable talent to the rest of the guys he plays. That was why Butch looked like a sketchy hire even from the beginning. Not only did he follow Brian Kelly, but he failed to replicate his Cincy success.

Talking about his mid-major/lower-tier stops. He was 20-5 at Lambuth, 10-2 at ASU, and is 17-6 at Liberty. Solid trajectory at those stops. Improvement every year. At Ole Miss he was good but not great, but had the team on a similar trajectory until that last season where it crumbled down.

Also never said that Harsin didn't have a solid record of his own.
