With Gus I’m kind of reminded of les miles solely because semi successful sec coach that gets a fresh start - and les miles has stunk it up. That might be different at UT instead of Kansas and it might not be fair to Gus. Any of these candidates I would want to hear them talk and what their plan would be (of course) and not just decide from a bunch of stats.

According to Basilio, Pruitt was inquiring to his superiors about replacing Friend and he was told to hold off for now.

I agree that he doesn't tweet himself. But its the week of Christmas, the intern that probably runs his account is probably home on break. You're reading too much into it.

No it is not...it is different, but you still have to play adequate defense. Look at Botch's 2016 team, or a couple of Doofus teams..we could score those years, but our defense played like runny crap through a goose and we got our teeth kicked in.

Why? We have coaches that are playing bowl games now. We have an investigation that is ongoing which I’m sure is being used as leverage. I mean you absolutely could be right but I think there’s plenty of reasons why it hasn’t happened yet.

We are the only show in town now so maybe things slow down even more.

Or we are about to trot again.

These all sound reasonable. I hope you are right. It just seems to me that they would want to rip off that bandaid and get it over with.
