The fact Fulmer still thinks keeping Pruitt after a 3-7 record is the best option, proves how clueless he is.

Just because he won a National Championship at the time, doesn’t mean he needs to be making these kind of decisions.

He made bad decisions towards the end of his coaching career and now this. Giving Pruitt an extension was a huge mistake.

Likely not many disputing your above points, it was the Natty is meaningless comment that struck a nerve...

I don’t think you understand what he did at Austin Peay. I believe they had a 47 game losing streak at one point till he took over and he turned them around. Got them to the playoffs for the first time since the 70’s I think. His season at Charlotte was an eyebrow raiser this year though. I didn’t realize it had been that bad. I’m telling you though, I think he’s going to be a good coach.

I am not a huge fan of Chadwell...BUT he has lots of HC experience, he’s familiar with recruiting in the south, & he is a legitimate offensive mind.

Will his system be successful in the SEC? I don’t know. I do know Air Force with smaller & less talented players runs it and wins plenty.

And yet Kiffin scored more points than he allowed in-conference and in Year 1!

Pruitt has never done that. And at UT, not Ole Miss. Could fix the defense with the type of talent we recruit in no time (defense is built on talent more than offense. Just recruit well).
