In 2020, defense has existed less. Will that trend continue? Is it due to Covid being a weird year? All SEC schedule? All of the above?

2020 SEC:
- 0 teams allow less than 15 ppg
- 2 teams allow less than 20 ppg
- 7 teams allow 30+ppg

2019:
- 2 teams allow less than 15 ppg
- 6 teams allow less than 20 ppg
- 2 teams allow 30+ppg

2018:
- 2 teams allow less than 15 ppg
- 5 teams allow less than 20 ppg
- 2 teams allow 30+ppg

2017:
- 2 teams allow less than 15 ppg
- 4 teams allow less than 20 ppg
- 4 teams allow 30+ppg
Great work keep going please!

If Pruitt can just develop a QB and make an assistant hire who wont be a yes man, I think we can take a step forward next year (yea I know it won’t take much). But I’m counting down the days until Chaney retires.
3 years proves he can’t develop a QB
And how many games? Was it that he fired his DL coach that wasn’t a yes man

Short term memory loss? Held Bama to their lowest total and Ingram to like 40 yards. Held Florida to only 23 which was their second lowest total. Held Georgia and Scar to under 20. It was an average or above average defense. “Couldn’t stop anyone” is simply wrong

Monty Kiffin is a beast, Lane is not Monty.

I have a theory that it is mostly due to all the rule changes. No one is afraid to go over the middle of the field. If you tackle someone too hard it may result in a 15-yard penalty and an ejection. Also pass interference is really too strict and the O-line gets away with holding on every play.

His were for books, ineligible players etc etc..... same crap that LSU, Miami, North Carolina, Florida State NEVER got punished for
Hey, i don't care if we have to lie, cheat, pillage, and plunder...I just want to win another National Championship. Everyone cheats in the SEC.

Just thought it was worth noting that Chadwell had to vacate half his wins and a Conference Championship at CSU.

You can say whatever you want, still doesn't change the fact that your post was the dumbest sh!t I've read on here. Whatever Fulmer did or didn't do as a coach, has or hasn't done as AD...an SEC and a National Championship never "become meaningless". You should be embarrassed thinking something so stupid, and then to post it...

No reason to be embarrassed.

The fact Fulmer still thinks keeping Pruitt after a 3-7 record is the best option, proves how clueless he is.

Just because he won a National Championship at the time, doesn’t mean he needs to be making these kind of decisions.

He made bad decisions towards the end of his coaching career and now this. Giving Pruitt an extension was a huge mistake.

I agree with what you said. Change holding and PI and scoring slows down.

Yup this year has been very much an anomaly. Defenses never caught up. The trend is still toward offense gaining more ground, but people are overreacting to this season's offensive output.

Great work keep going please!

2016:

1 under 15
4 under 20
5 over 30

2015:

1 under 15
4 under 20
0 over 30

2014:

1 under 15
4 under 20
3 over 30

2013:

1 under 15
1 under 20
3 over 30

2012:

1 under 15
6 under 20
3 over 30 (vols worst at 35.7)

(Un)Fun fact: Bama has been #1 scoring D in conference for every year posted 2012-2020 except 2014 (3rd), 2018 (2nd), 2019 (5th - still under 20ppg).

I really can’t wait for Saban to retire.
