Given that neither the DL coach opening or (presumed) OL coach opening are getting any real discussion, and the Twitter account is idle, there is certainly reason to suspect that there is more happening than immediately apparent.

Cant help but think Napier is just gonna sit tight and coach at Louisiana and wait for Bama or Clemson to open down the road. His stock can keep rising for a long time there. If he fails at one of these tougher SEC jobs he basically turns into Chad Morris.

I think he’ll be a Tiger if/when coach O reaches the end of his lucky streak.

Exactly. I think anyone could easily assume that something is happening be it fighting to keep Pruitt, trying to fire him, or waiting on the investigation. No candidates that I've saw for replacements and noone fired.

LSU knows they have a HC who can win with the right assistant and has a NC on the resume to recruit worth. They are willing to invest big money in him. We are not willing to continue to invest in a severely underperforming HC.

Imo with basilio. Any info someone wants to control when and how it is released he isn’t even on the list of those who will be allowed access to it. If someone wants to cause a mess and undermine someone then he will be at the top of the list of people that get a piece because they know he can’t help but run his mouth and he will exaggerate it to the level they want to stir up fans

So did everyone forget the debacle of 2017? There is no way anything is happening behind the scenes. The reason you’re not hearing any news is because there won’t be any news. There are no back door meetings, no boosters at odds with each other, and no coaching change other than some assistants. The news of some coaches lawyering up might be true, but isn’t out of the ordinary for internal investigations. CJP will be back for one more year. Then, if he doesn’t win at least 7-8 games, he’ll be fired and the real coaching search will begin. Not to be a buzz kill, but this administration hasn’t shown anything but complete and total incompetence the last 15 years. So I fully expect to be stuck in college football hell at least one more year.
