Recruiting Forum Football Talk III

If he's back, is Jeremy going to coach the O-line in addition to the D-line? HS staffs don't get as many assistants as CFB - so Jeremy would probably like that. Phill could save UT some money that way. Silver lining thing again.

Complete clown show. These are decisions that cripple the program. Nobody gonna give a **** next year, recruiting will plummet and it's going to be more costly. **** UTs admin all the way from Boyd to Fulmer

Everyone associated with running this football program can get ******. Every single one of them.

If matts is correct, - oh well, more money for golf and travel again this year. Silver lining thing.

The one thing I am sad and upset about is that I used to care deeply about Vol football. I even changed my number in HS to be Steve Kiner's #57, I was so inspired by him and Vol D. Living in other parts of the country part of my life before getting back to East TN, I still found ways to go to their games in K-town or on the road. Not anymore even with living here.

I will watch the games when available to do so. Want to see how big the gap gets between the Vols as bottom feeders versus the better programs. Even USCe will beat them next season. Mizzou will stomp them. That magnificent Pruitt D will be boat raced by them and others. So I see a max of 4 wins. Vandy East here we come. Set back yet another year adding to the 15 before it. Phil's legacy forever tarnished.

Or, they can do the right thing.

But I take heart in all of the dogs, guns, and horse posts. Y'all are my people. Choose joy.
I will always be a Vol, and only a Vol...period. I will be right here waiting if/when this gets turned around.

They don't care, 'member?
They care about lining their pockets. Period. If the fanbase is done, they will make a change. If they think they can get one more year until we are done, then they will do that. The people running this program all believe they are smarter and better than every single one of us. They love this fanbases blind optimism and honestly stupidity. We are literally insane. Showing up to big games and expecting or hoping to win is craziness. Sorry that I know many people who have poured blood and sweat into this program and want better. Ones that go to UT games to sign autographs and do events because the University asks. But when they call they are not heard, they are told things are being worked out and they are doing what is best for the program when they really aren’t. I’m fed up just hearing about it and I know they are fed up with this program being a joke. I would take a staff of VFLs tomorrow. This team would not be the soft roll overs like they are now. They wouldn’t stand for it and would get every ounce out of those kids. Like I’ve said before, last year JG came off the field after a pick pouting and no one talked to him. No coach yelled at anyone. He said he wanted to snatch JG up and yell at everyone and couldn’t believe the lack of care.

Last time we fired Fulmer it began the Clemson dynasty. Will that happen again when/if Fulmer gets canned again?

With a football man running the show you would think said sports program would be at least solid by now. Considering the others are all mostly in good shape. Perplexing to say the least. Fulmer must be content with just 1 more year in his position. He should go with Pruitt after next season.

We make it so easy to negative recruit against us. How can they possibly convince any top prospect to come to UT when they know they won’t be here past next year? Or better yet what motivation does Pruitt have to recruit top talent here? These bridges are burned. Time to cut ties even if it means an interim coach for next year.

So.. Dog, gun and horse show is over and we're back to reality.. We suck, our AD and boosters are spineless morons and the program is a punchline for a bad joke.

Have I missed anything?

Man, you guys have a small fortune in armaments.

Not a gun guy at all, by any stretch of the imagination. BUT i get it.

Had a great client get shot at point blank range in last couple weeks. Crazy.

All Ill say about that. RIP brother.
My experience is that guns are sort of like golf clubs. Once you get going. you just wind up with a lot.
