Is there ANYONE out there that could get that kind of approval rating? Bigger question, would they even be remotely successful? I love Jesus but I'm not sure he would be a really good football coach..
Heathen! JC would effin dominate! šŸ¤¬

Sorry boosters calling for a coup where he spills the beans on our AD arenā€™t acceptable for me. I understand you like this guy but one good act to you doesnā€™t mean this guy gets a pass to do harm as he chooses
So what do you suggest is the right path for this program Bruin. Considering you donā€™t have any skin in the game?

Truly the best gift @frank has given us all is the ignore feature.

Once ya use it for Bruin the forums become so much better. Heā€™ll argue simple math equations & the color of the sky, dude is without question a miserable individual. I just hope this type of behavior is only his online troll and heā€™s not this way in person. I feel bad for all who have to deal with him if thatā€™s not the case.

I think about 100% of the people who post here want a change, but only because 75% of them have been convinced Hugh Freeze is a sure thing.

But from my time speaking to the average, less-engaged fan, or prowling around in Facebook Vol based groups, most of them want to give Pruitt another year.
Facebook?

The AD is screwing you over right now by forcing his personal agenda just so fans like you are forced to watch this sh*t show again next year.

Fulmer SUCKS and is a cancer for this program. He for sure doesnā€™t want the NCAA sniffing around him...we will see how bad some donors want him gone as well...they certainly have and know the dirt if needed to make a change.

Didnā€™t realize I got stuck watching ā€˜How Phillip Fulmer Stole Christmasā€™. Worst Christmas movie ever.

Understand frustrations are high, but I will not be joining the pile on in regards to Coach Fulmer.

I remember how excited we were just three short years ago to have him calling the shots because other decision makers had proven their ineptitude for a decade.

He is likely standing in the way of Pruitt being fired. I want Pruitt fired so that irritates me. But itā€™s not like heā€™s making the decision out of malice - he wants to give Pruitt another year.

Like I said, I want a change made and I think there are influential people trying to make it happen. But Phillip Fulmer is not our sole issue. We know what the problem is: weā€™ve got too many boosters who would rather bitch and moan and complain about why things arenā€™t going their way instead of writing a big check and saying ā€œIā€™m in charge now.ā€

I donā€™t think Fulmer is trying keep Pruitt out of malice, itā€™s out of stupidity.

I havenā€™t gotten this impression at all. And Iā€™m around the sheepiest of the sheep.

People have a blind allegiance and think he has to be 100 percent right. He isnā€™t just like nobody is. We donā€™t agree with every decision or thought of our own families make so itā€™s fine to disagree with people we donā€™t even know especially when throwing around threats about a TN legend. People forget we are in this mess with how we treated Fulmer the last time. Itā€™s been the Fulmer curse. Iā€™d like to break that cycle somehow and if there is a break then let it be mutual and out of spotlight. Iā€™d prefer not start a new one.

You canā€™t run around on message boards talking about paying players and recruits and then threatening ncaa trouble if donā€™t get your way. If people didnā€™t hate JG so much and Pruitt had just started JT and Harrison since Ky we wouldnā€™t be in this mess.

What's the timeline here for the ESPN alerts either way? 2-3 days? 7-10 days? A month? I'm trying to schedule the rest of my holiday break and need to know when I can be productive.

The idea that Fulmer isn't acting out of malice is irrelevant.

When a drunk driver smashes into a car and kills people, he didn't intend that outcome and is probably very sorry their actions had bad outcomes. Lack of intent doesn't make the drunk sympathetic or benelovent.

Now, I'm not equating Fulmer to a drunk driver, only pointing out that outcomes are better indicators of worth (in many settings) than intent.

Give me the person whose intent matches the outcome, even if the intent is malicious, any day. That person is easier to account for, deal with, plan around, and react to. They are at their base more honest, and courageous, than the best intentioned person who destroys things because they aren't capable of admitting, or even aware of, their own limitations.

The latter person only succeeds or fails due to luck. The former person succeeds due to an ability to plan and execute their intent, and only fails due to luck. In my view the guy depending on luck is far more dangerous than the other.

Iā€™m just so apathetic towards UT football. Iā€™m tired of losing. Iā€™m tired of incompetence from every layer of the athletic department. Iā€™m tired of being the laughing stock, and especially tired of the fact that none of our rivals fear us anymore. You know itā€™s bad when a UGA, UF or Bama fan acts sympathetic towards you after a loss to them.

Sometimes to truly hit the restart button you need to hit rock bottom.

express your opinion.

follow in line with that Boyd other higher ups and fulmer want

if you donā€™t approve withdraw your $.

Donā€™t harm the program by causing a Coup involving more ncaa issues

plain and simple

If you don't have Bruin on ignore you're a moron

I guess some don't mind ESPN commentators literally laughing out loud at the Vols.

Makes me fn ill and whatever it takes to correct the ship, I'm all for.
