What we need and want doesn't matter to the admin. They don't care about us. They don't care about winning. A large portion of stupid fans will give them money regardless. No we don’t. Literally every podcaster, analyst, and journalist who follows this program still says things are up in the air and the sooner it gets settled the better. We need a public statement specifically addressing the situation. This is ridiculous.
Dude they literally NOT gonna fire pruitt. My god.Chadwell makes a lot of sense right now.... His stock is high and we could get him for cheap. Pruitt makes $4 million a year. If fired, I think he would make around $2 million a year in buyout. I bet Chadwell would come for $2.5-3 million. You already have $1 million a year saved to pay half the buyout. And a new coach will bring in much more in ticket sales. And since he would love this job, I doubt it will be a problem having Steele and other VFLs on staff with a mix of his own staff. It makes sense why people are saying Chadwell is highly likely.
I just think that happens way more often than people realize.I have a hard time with the Chadwell being the HC and UT having already hired both Steele and Gardner. Understand, I do not have a problem with it if it really happened that way but my question would be, does Chadwell even know these guys? Now, of course it is possible they have already talked with Chadwell and maybe he is ok with it, I just don't think any HC would want their staff picked for them. Wasn't that some of the problem when Auburn was hiring? Trying to get the HC to come with Steele and Gardner still on staff? I think if Gardner comes it would be Marrone as HC and they are in communication with him about this. Just throwing this out there and no I am not promoting Marrone.
Stick with your final sentence and the experience here will be much more enjoyable. No one has any idea, but some are delusional enough to either act like they do or drive themselves crazy trying to figure it out.Doesn't Steele and Pruitt have different defensive philosophies? It would seem difficult for Steele to be Pruitt's Defensive Coordinator if so. This leads me to believe that either Pruitt is gone and Steele will be an interim or the DC for the next coach or Steele is only going to be a position coach under Pruitt. In other words, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN!
