He butchered his last season playing special teams. But he did get some yards in his 3 seasons. Hurd was 400 yards away from the all time Vols rushing record...you have a shrine for him?
Love me some hurd. Hurd with my darling kiffin would have been a dream come true.

Small should have got his carries towards the end and Tiyon Evans will deserve those he doesn’t take from Gray next season. Haven’t even got to Beckwith, Brown and Wright. “This year” isn’t a factor except for the residual nightmare factor.
Yeah we wont agree on that.

So we're better when we lose a guy in the top 5 in all purpose yards in school history?

Lol. We re not in a position to lose good football players and guys that are team 1st attitudes.
Brett Kendrick was loyal...didn’t help him block anybody better.

Chandler is an average runner and receiver on his best days and has almost zero value as a blocker. We will not miss him. More talent was behind him on the depth chart in 2020’and there would of been even more in 2021.
Would you conclude that Travis Stephens was an average runner at UT?

I'm so depressed. I hate what our football program has become the last 15 years. The General is probably spinning in his grave. Philip Fulmer should be absolutely ashamed of himself for what he's currently allowing to happen. Everyone up there needs to be fired for cause just for how negligent they've been on preserving a historic football program. They've taken a massive dump on our history.

Take a break brother

John Adams saying the idea that Kevin Steele is coming in to be second in command while rebuilding the staff under Pruitt is a "fairy tail".

Says it makes much more sense to bring Steele in as a reassuring voice in an interim role for current players.

Says nothing they have done to tarnish Pruitt over the last few weeks would make any sense if there was any chance of bringing him back.

Fulmer not a decision maker in this. Plowman is.

Fulmer doesn't make any decisions in "troubled times".

This is getting hilarious... so we have an investigation going on and the HC is at the center of it, JP can't do anything except sit on his hands (NO, he didn't hire Steele) and wait, players are transferring, coaches are leaving... yet there are people still hell bent on thinking Pruitt is staying. Stop and seriously think about it... I know a lot of us have said this before, but truly if the ADMIN and AD are seeing this (which they are), and see how poorly this team performed this season, see the above mentioned people leaving the program, why and how would this in any way be a good idea of keeping the HC who is the reason all of this is happening?

Again, a lot of us have said this before, but this is reaching a fever pitch and a line in the sand between the Admin and fans... If they are foolish enough to keep a coach no one wants or respects, then no one better show up and spend a penny on this program in the fall... ZERO support.

I still think it's announced by Monday that he has been let go.................

********************** And lastly, if you are planning on bringing your current HC back next season, why are you treating him like 'ish right now and letting the speculation and rumors grow along with kids transferring????????? If you are keeping him why haven't you backed him openly?

We are better when younger more Hungry players get the ball as long as the talent is close and I think it is.

Chandler had lost “interest” since grey became the featured back and let’s be honest Chaney wasn’t using him well

I think sometimes people forget that a guy can be a small loss for you but a big gain for someone else with the right fit. This is one of those spots. He is clearly not a great fit for Chaney and Chaney won’t use him how he should be used. We have guys that Chaney does know how to use coming in and on roster. We aren’t hurting at RB. Staff expects Evans to be a baller.

Meanwhile Chandler will go to a great offensive scheme fit for him and he will improve his stock greatly imo once showcased more in pass game.
