John Adams saying the idea that Kevin Steele is coming in to be second in command while rebuilding the staff under Pruitt is a "fairy tail".

Says it makes much more sense to bring Steele in as a reassuring voice in an interim role for current players.

Says nothing they have done to tarnish Pruitt over the last few weeks would make any sense if there was any chance of bringing him back.

Fulmer not a decision maker in this. Plowman is.

Fulmer doesn't make any decisions in "troubled times".

He spent 4 years UT during some of the most turbulent times in school history, under 2 different coaches, on some bad football teams.
He did his job. Avg 5 yards a career over his career. And finished in the top 5 in all purpose yards.
And was the definition of "team first".

Whats not to like.

I have no ill will toward him. Hope he does well

I just think new blood under the circumstances is better for most of this roster. It’s why I am not unhappy when any senior leaves

That's true. I meant the PR of the whole thing that the administration is allowing to fester to this point. You do not allow it to get out of hand like this. If you do keep the coach, you have ruined it for him.
