I liked Small and Beckwith better with only small windows of seeing them in action...sorry not sorry. I don’t know about GUARANTEES, but I’ve seen enough in four years to not mourn seeing any more.

He has a good resume. He has a better resume as a HC and coordinator than Oregeron had when LSU hired him. UF has hired Zook and Muschamp having never been head coaches and McElwain and Napier has done better at Louisiana than McElwain did at Colorado St.

He does have a good resume, but I think either of those programs are swimming in better waters than him when they’re looking again.

I think Florida learned from the Zook, Champ, Shark boy experiments and won’t try that again.

LSU hired Orgeron because he’d been “successful” at USC, was already on staff at LSU, dynamite recruiter and deeply connected in the state.

Also, if Napier is looking for Saban level control these schools won’t give that to someone who has never run a blue chip program before.

Crouch is on defense because that's where he wants to play.

That's what protects the school when someone enters the portal. The player loses his scholarship when he enters the portal but he can get it back if he withdraws his name but it isn't guaranteed. It's up to the coach at that point. Every player knows this prior to entering the portal.

If we hire Chadwell with Steele, Gardner, and Graham already on staff that would be a huge deal imo.

He would have 3 legitimate SEC assistant coaches with experience in this league who he could build a staff around. I’m hesitant to force guys on coaches, but I’d hope they all could make it work for a couple of years to help Chadwell along.

I’ve stated before, and I won’t waiver. Chadwell will win at power 5 program.
